Fox News's Faux Outrage Over Biden's Ouster
They don't give a damn about Joe! It's more about anger over Trump having to run against a younger, stronger candidate who happens to be a black woman.
Watching Fox News during primetime is an exercise in morbid curiosity. It’s akin to knowingly diving into a snake pit. As Indiana Jones said, “Why did it have to be snakes?” We often dive in just the same. It’s human nature to be curious. In addition, Sun Tzu, author of The Art of War, famously said, “Know thy enemy and know thy self and you will win a hundred battles.
The program, The Five, Fox’s highest rated program with four GOP members and a proud dem liberal, Jessica Tarlov, is part of my personal Art of War. Jessica is the only reason I’m able to tolerate the show as I know she’ll rip Jeanine Pirro, Jesse Waters and Greg Gutfeld, to shreds. Dana Perino is Ok, but the other GOP Trump sycophants make me want to kick the TV in.
On a recent episode, the GOP members of the panel continued to bemoan the fact that Joe Biden is no longer on the ticket. They are beside themselves with faux indignation and almost sympathetic to a man they’ve routinely called, Sleepy Joe, Crooked Joe Biden, the head of the Biden Crime Family and worse. They simply can’t get past the fact that he’s gone from the ticket as if their reason for living was suddenly taken away. They’re calling the totally legal and by-the-book process for Joe bowing out and Kamala being the top of the ticket, a mutiny, a coup, unconstitutional and illegal.
Listen to the clip below as the GOP members try to throw the whole process into disarray, claiming Joe is bitter with lingering division in the party and the Biden family. When in fact, the Democratic Party is gushing with joy and optimism. Trump and his media sycophants just don’t know what to do. They’re attacking the process more than the result. Their attacks are as empty as the Trump campaign’s response the the rise of Harris.
Trump, not one to let the media fight his battles, is working every angle to throw cold water on the Harris ticket by attacking her race, gender, ethnicity and intelligence. He’s using his tired old playbook of identity politics as he has no substantive ammunition in his bunker.
He’s also working the angle of the alleged illegitimacy of the Harris ticket just as the right wing media, but with a difference. He’s devised a preemptive excuse for a possible loss in the fall, with the claim of a rigged election process.
Trump is as mad as an NFL coach who was winning a game in the 4th quarter by more than a touchdown and then the other team’s quarterback, who’d never missed a quarter the whole season, gets hurt and pulled out of the game. The coach has only a few films on the backup quarterback as he enters the game with a whole new set of plays. Kamala Harris is that backup quarterback and Trump is the tired old coach on the other side with an empty playbook.
This actually happened with Clint Longley, a backup quarterback for Roger Staubach, the legendary Dallas Cowboys quarterback. Staubach got hurt and Clint entered the game. On Thanksgiving day in 1974, they were losing to the Redskins with minutes to go, but Clint, who no one had ever heard of, threw a pass to Drew Pearson, winning the game. Clint was never heard from again, but Kamala is here to stay.
Trump has no idea what to do. His team has no idea what to do other than roll out the same old plays of identity politics. Harris isn’t taking the bait, however, not even responding to Trump’s infantile attacks. She and her team are simply running toward the goal line, not looking back or even sideways at Trump and his Toady, J.D. “Cat Lady” Vance.
Robert Redford, in the final scene from the movie, The Candidate, best exemplifies what Trump is feeling. Redford’s character looked like he was lost and about to cry when he said to his campaign manager, “What do we do now?”
Trump has been running against Joe Biden for almost four years. With his old nemesis gone, he’s lost. He simply can’t imagine losing to a woman, especially a black woman.
It starts at the top! Pundits are paid handsomely for their disinformation.
I was on Twitter for years till the other Nut purchased for 44 billion.

I was a moderate Republican.
Now I'm fully a Democrat supporter.
I appreciate your views, Good Day
I care not for FOX views, paid to pretend anchors. Also feel the same about MSNBC, except for Lawrence O'Donnell, he's one I look for on YT.
Steve, I like your articles, your on point, with your views.
They (msm) actually should be moving forward, not acting as if the other party has any juice in the game for "The People ". We know it's TAX Cuts, that would put this country on a path to a Regime Rule, Trump and his love for Strong Regime Rulers.
Thank you again, Steve. 🙂
