WHO WAS THAT MAN ON LEFT OF YOUR SCREEN? "Will the real J.D. Vance please stand up?"
Can Americans trust a man who changes his colors and stripes to fit the moment?
The Yale trained Master Chameleon, Hillbilly Elegy Boy was out in force last night with eyeliner, calm voice, pleasing demeanor and kind words for his opponent, Tim Walz, but the other man we’ve come to know over the past year is the real J.D. Vance.
Vance was slick, pleasant and affable, but don’t be fooled. He’s the same man that shows up at rallies with hate fueled accusations about immigrants, supporting everything that his boss, Trump, says and wants to turn the United States into a Handmaid’s Tale Society with draconian laws for women that are more Taliban in nature.
Tim Walz performed admirably, coming across as a real man looking at and talking to the American people with the same sincerity we’ve come to know and love.
The debate was collegial in nature. Both candidates were well behaved and mostly answered the questions. Vance was more evasive throughout the 90 minutes, but there was one key question from Walz that Vance could not and would not answer despite knowing the truth.
Walz pressed J.D. on the Big Lie of who won the 2020 election. Vance failed the test of truth, but passed the only Litmus test Donald Trump cares about, knowing his boss was watching from Mar a Lago with his cheeseburger and Diet Coke, fingers at the ready on Truth Social. Vance passed the test, but failed the American people.
For many, this is the only test that matters and Vance failed. How can we trust a man within steps of the Presidency who cannot tell the truth?
I hope that people realize that Vance can be absolutely trusted... to do whatever tRump wants, when he wants it. I'm sure that's the agreement he entered into with the Republikkkans. The Republikkkans want power, and they'll do almost anything to get and keep it. They're so close to absolute power, they can taste it, and the thought of allowing Harris et al, to continue reconstructing our democratic safeguards is causing them to panic. Unfortunately, they hitched their wagon to a freaking crazy, demented nutball, and while they can't take the presidency without him, he's decomposing as they watch 👍🏾🤣🤣🤣.
Vance is one of those people who are better in the background, but he hasn't figured that out yet, or at least hasn't accepted it. He's obviously not very smart, and has zero charisma or he'd cleverly steer tRump onto paths with a snowball's chance of success.
If we keep working like there's no tomorrow, we WILL get what we came for, another good, decent, hard-working, smart and caring president; one who will be respected and honored on the world stage, who will work, to the best of her abilities, for the benefit of ALL of us.
We can't afford to slow down, because the idea of JD Vance one heartbeat from the presidency is at least as scary as tRump.
