All Immigrants, legal or otherwise, are under the threat of deportation for reasons of checking the wrong box, being in the wrong place at the wrong time, a social media post, writing an Op Ed in support of Palestinians or for no F’king reason at all, as in the case of Canadian actress Jasmine Mooney.
Even US Visa holders are being harassed, accosted by ICE Agents, questioned, berated, threatened, put in prison, chained at the wrists, ankles and waist and for no other reason but to create a climate of fear in the hearts and minds of all foreign travelers to the United States.
We are on a path to a full stop of immigration, where Trump is threatening universities by barring all foreign students if “WE” don’t like them or their politics.
