Monica was at every event at the Whitehouse, out in front hoping to get Bill's attention. She knew what she was doing.
She did. I don't even blame her in a way. I mean....this is more akin to a celebrity & a super fan that is enamored of them. She did have a history of going after older married men, but I would've liked her to pursue why she did that, because there is always a reason. That would be a book worth writing if she chose too. I don't like her coming out with 30 years perspective & saying, "he took advantage of me", when she was pursuing him like a bee to honey. I mean...."own your shit, ya know".
Why did she make a habit out of it. I had a great English teacher who I admired greatly, but I wouldn't want to have an affair with him. He was my favorite teacher. I could trust his judgement. When he complimented you, he meant it & when he criticized you, it was good criticism.
The media that were involved in pursuing Clinton need to be honest. The questions I'd ask them are, "why'd you go after him so relentlessly, when with Reagan/Bush you respected their privacy"? "Why didn't you do your due diligence on the rumors & republican ops who smeared him for personal reasons?" "Why have you never corrected the record & told the tale how all of these people were out to get Bill Clinton & ruin his career....that would make for a very interesting read"?

Have we heard the story about how Ken Starr threatened the couple that went into business with Bill & Hillary Clinton for the Whitewater land deal? The husband went along w/Starr & said Bill was corrupt (although he was a silent party), but his wife went to jail because she said she was not going to tell them what they wanted to hear & destroy someone's career, life & reputation.
Have we heard the tale how "TrooperGate" was all bullshit made up by a state cop who didn't like the Clintons. The entire story/stories are all false.
It goes on & on like that. It's so sad. Sam Donaldson was one of the biggest unprofessional jerks out there & talked very rude to the president which angered a lot of people. They just threw journalistic respect & integrity to the winds to pursue him because they could get away with it without losing their jobs or catching flack. It is valuable to note that those reporters showed who they truly are to the world. They shouldn't be trusted ever again.
